This subgroup is named from the only characterised reaction found within. There appear to be two distinct sets of [4Fe-4S]-AdoMet binding motifs. Although the vast majority have the canonical motif, some appear to contain a Cx14CcxC motif. All appear to have the D,S|T motif after the last AdoMet binding Cys residue suggestive that they all bind a Mg(II) ion.
