Proteins in this subgroup are known to catalyze the following reaction types: nucleophilic aromatic substitution and nucleophilic substitution (SN2). For example, SFLD protein 56846 (UniProt accn Q2UH62) has experimentally-confirmed nucleophilic aromatic substitution activity with CDNB and nucleophilic substitution (SN2) activity with iodoacetate.
